This would be scary to think about odd behaviours that are against our beliefs and experiences. May be this news is more terrible when you imagine yourself as the one who does so, and as it does not match with what you feel about yourself and is against your experiences, like any other bizzare experiences and like any other ambiguous experience is deemed to be abnormal or terrifing. In Iran some old or even new generations of moslems who seem to be radical in their views believe that death and dying is close to them but humans are amnestic and forget how to deal with such a mortal life. They believe that to eliminate the fear of death and dependency to this mortal world they should go to a cemetery and lie in a newly excavated empty grave for a night to feel the feelings of a dead one. According to them, it would be a way to feel detached from the physical world and believe in the inferiority of man as a mortal creature. they think that it will kill selfishness, injustice, and any violent passions in humans. They feel refreshed in this way and closer to the reality of mortality.
