Genelle Pugmire

I found this article of extreme interest. I was 9 when met William A. Hightower for the first time. He died the day of my high school graduation. For all intents and purposes I am the "heir" to all of his writings and information he dispensed over his time in Santquentin. His story is unique and only half told. Known as "the Sage of San Quentin" he left a legacy of history of the inside of one of the most notorious prisons in the U.S. Hearst and Yellow Journalism was well at work on this story.
